本课程于2018-2019年下学期由Dieter Juedt讲师授课。目的是向学生解释并提供清晰的方法和策略，以便在Photoshop中创建GIF动画。课程还深化了学生对photoshop应用程序的使用，并为他们的动画设计推荐和实践了数字插图样式。

本课程动画设计的主要图像序列基于电影摄影先驱EadwardMuybridge(埃德沃德·迈布里奇)的历史摄影图像，并对其进行自由的艺术创作：为原始的黑白图像增添颜色，补充图形或摄影图像细节，增加新的图像内容，并且改变图形效果。这个项目的主题和标题是“超级英雄！”。同时，对于图像美学的构思过程及能力、戏剧作法和动画人物故事的构思，以及诸如图像分辨率、颜色模式、文件大小等数字层面(如动画流畅播放的话文件可以有多大？）也都进行了讨论。

Digital design project of classes 1707203, 204, 205, 206

This course was taught during summer semester 2019 by lecturer Dieter Juedt. The aim of the class was to explain and offer students clear methods and strategies to create GIF-animations in Photoshop. The course also took the opportunity to deepen Photoshop applications and to recommend and practice a digital illustration style for animation.

In our main project image sequences, based on historical photographic images by Eadweard Muybridge, a pioneer of motion picture photography, were subjected to a free artistic process. The origial black and white images were colored, supplemented with graphic or photographic image details, and coupled with new image content, in addition to a changed graphic effect. Topic and title of this project was “Superhero!”. Ideation of image aesthetics, dramaturgy and storytelling but also digital aspects like image resolution, color mode, file sizes (how big can a file be for a fluid animation?) were discussed.
